Title: Carpenter (For multiple projects: home renovation & homes interior works)
Terms of Employment: On call, Permanent, Full Time
Salary: To be negotiated
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Ottawa, Orleans, Sturgeon Falls, North Bay Ontario,(1 vacancy)
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Carpenter Trade Certification, Driver's License
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Major Work Area: Renovation, Commercial and Residential
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Commercial, Residential
Area of Specialization: General carpentry such as: Framing, Trim Work, Cabinet Work, Doors, Windows and Partitions, Wood Flooring, Carpeting and Tiles, Kitchens and Baths, Basement Refinishing, Decks, Dormers, Extensions and More.
Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
Work Site Environment: Various locations
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver's licence
Work Location Information: Various locations
Essential Skills: Oral communication, Working with others, Job task planning and organizing
